VIEWSHED

David La Spina’s Viewshed is a series of photographs made within the protected viewshed of Olana State Historic Site. Created by photographing the ground glass of a large-format camera, the images capture the shifting light, color, and atmosphere of the Catskill Mountains.

Printed in Verona, Italy. 8 × 11 inches, 44 pages, 25 images. Sewn softcover with drop spine. Includes a die-cut facsimile of a pencil drawing by Frederic Church. Signed and editioned.
